Chief Martinez Sworn in as Batallion Chief
During the District Board Meeting on July 13th, Chief Chandler Martinez was sworn in as Battalion Chief of Operations - A Shift for the Frederick-Firestone Fire District. We congratulate Chief Martinez on this well-earned promotion and look forward to the continued leadership, dedication, and positive impact he will make within our District and the community.

Training Highlights

This past month, Frederick-Firestone Fire District crews continued building and maintaining the skills needed to respond to a wide range of emergencies. Training focused on forcible entry techniques, allowing crews to practice gaining access to structures quickly and efficiently during time-critical incidents.
Crews also participated in swift water rescue training, reviewing specialized equipment and rescue methods used in moving water environments. Although these incidents are infrequent, ongoing practice helps ensure firefighters are prepared to respond safely and effectively when needed.
In addition to district training, FFFD hosted structural collapse training with the Northern Colorado Special Operations Team, reinforcing teamwork and coordination with agencies from across the region.
Regular training is a vital part of maintaining readiness, allowing our crews to provide the highest level of service to the communities we protect.
