Overview
2025 marked a milestone year as we celebrated our 50th Anniversary and achieved international accreditation through the Center for Public Safety Excellence. This recognition reflects our commitment to high-quality service, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Service Area and Community

- Coverage area: approximately 38 square miles
- Population served: approximately 42,000 residents

Our crews respond to a wide range of emergencies while maintaining fast and reliable response times.

Training and Preparedness
- Total training hours: 33,273
- Average per employee: 365+ hours
Training includes hands-on drills, classroom instruction, and scenario-based exercises to ensure readiness for complex emergencies.

Fire Prevention and Risk Reduction
- 1,299 inspections completed
- 173 plan reviews
- 194 permits issued
Programs include safety inspections, fire investigations, plan reviews, and youth intervention efforts to reduce risk across the community.

Community Engagement
- 53 CPR/AED classes (455 participants)
- 20 community events attended
- Approximately 50,000 community interactions
- 541 students reached during Fire Prevention Week

Financial Outlook
The District is committed to transparency and responsible financial management.
In 2025, voters approved a half-cent sales tax, helping create a more sustainable and diversified funding model beyond property taxes.
