That's A Wrap To 2024 from FFFD

A look back onto 2024

  • Station 5's grand opening: Station 5 houses one Ladder Truck, one Ambulance, and one Brush Truck. It runs a 24/7 full-staffed shift with 5-6 firefighter personnel per shift, meeting the desired emergency coverage for the south part of the district.
  • Hired seven new Firefighter/EMTs and one Paramedic.
  • FFFD was proud to recognize three civilians for their life-saving CPR efforts.
  • FFFD's Planning Division accepted over 200+ new and existing building construction permits, over 80 more than 2023.
  • FFFD completed 19 fire investigations, three less than 2023
  • The FFFD Wildland team was deployed to multiple wildfires throughout the nation.
  • The rescue of one pelican!

Thank you to all our community members for another successful Santa Run!

The 20th Annual Santa Run was a great success. Santa and our crews were showered with gratitude and appreciation. This tradition lives deep in the FFFD roots, and we couldn't pull it off without our volunteers, staff members, and of course... the true believers!
