On January 9, 2023, the Frederick-Firestone Fire District hosted a Pinning and Promotional Ceremony where the Fire District recognized a total of 19 employees in some form or another. During the ceremony four new members were welcomed, three recruits made it through their recruit year and were pinned as firefighters, one promotion from EMT/FF to Paramedic/FF, two administrative promotions, and nine promotions to Engineer.
