Our Mission Statement
To provide the highest level of life and property
protection through; fire suppression, an integrated pre-hospital
care system, technical rescue, fire prevention, and public education
to all residents and visitors living in and traveling through
our District. We are dedicated to always answer every
emergency no matter time of day or location with the utmost
professionalism and compassion. We stand ready to support
and assist neighboring emergency services in accomplishing their
missions through coordination and mutual aid response.
In accomplishing our mission we recognize our employees and
volunteers are our most important asset.

Grand Opening and
Community Preparedness Classes
The Frederick-Firestone Fire
Protection District is announcing
the Grand Opening for the Business &
Education Center, located at 8426
Kosmerl Place, Frederick, CO 80516
just north of Fire Station 2, where
the AirLife Helicopter is stationed.
The existing building was in
foreclosure since 2008 and was
purchased in 2011 using capital
replacement reserve funds as a
location for the District’s
training, public outreach, and
administrative center as well as
development as the location for the
Carbon Valley Emergency Operations
Center (EOC). Several community
enhancements will be gained through
the acquisition of this facility
including:
●Classroom
space for community outreach
programs like CPR classes, emergency
preparedness training, fire
prevention and public education
classes such as the After the Fire
program.
●Classroom
space will now be available at every
Fire Station in order to advance the
training and education of our
Reserves and Career members more
efficiently.

AA-Rating from S&P
and Saves Taxpayers Over $230,000
The District decided in August 2011
to pursue refinancing options for
the 2002 General Obligation Bonds.
The District Board and Staff were
committed to continuing to find cost
saving measures to pass on to our
